Left ear: A tiger's eye oval tops a round charm painted with a white heron in flight over water, dropping to a blue enamel evil eye charm and a gold star charm set with labradorite, ending in a small brass gold hand charm.
Right ear: A marquise tiger's eye stone tops a round charm holding pressed green leaves under resin, with the same evil eye and labadorite star charms, finishing in a matching gold hand charm.
The hand charm here reads as a protective talisman, in the spirit of the hamsa hand found across many traditions, meant to guard against negative energy. Tiger's eye at the top carries its own reputation for courage and focus, a steady note above the more delicate protective symbols below it.
Materials: natural tiger's eye, natural labradorite, printed resin charm (heron motif), pressed foliage, enamel evil eye charms, gold hand and star charms, gold-toned brass findings.
Every piece starts with real flowers, chosen for their color and shape. I dry them slowly through dehydration, a process that keeps the flower's natural form rather than flattening it, and on some pieces I also use traditional flower pressing, though not for this particular collection. Depending on the type of flower, the drying alone takes anywhere from two to five weeks.
My way of working grew out of three years of steady practice, testing and exploring until I found a signature that felt like my own. Each earring moves through several stages across many days, from preserving the organic materials, to coating them in resin, to designing and handmaking the small charms that complete the piece.
Once all the elements for a collection are ready, I take them outside to a quiet spot in nature and let myself settle into the process. I sit with the colors and shapes until a combination clicks, then bring the pieces together by hand. Some days I can see the separate parts clearly but not yet the finished earring, so I gather them in small bags and return to them another day. It's a slow, artistic process, made with care and a good amount of patience.
I solo-travelled all the way to India to find each beautiful gemstone used in my designs. The flowers themselves are either home grown, gifted, or sourced from flower markets.
- Avoid exposing the earrings to excessive heat.
- Keep away from perfume, soap, and water.
- Store in a dark jewelry box, out of direct light.
- Do not apply pressure to the flower or charms.
Ready to ship pieces are shipped out within 2 - 5 business days. Arrival depends on the country it is shipped to, but usually around 5 days.
