These handcrafted earrings are nature-inspired "floating" frames that preserve botanical and entomological treasures. Below is a detailed description of the charms and their specific elements.
Charm & Material Breakdown

The Frames: Each earring features a vintage-inspired brass frame (one rectangular, one circular) that houses preserved specimens.
- Gemstones: The earrings are suspended from ornate brass studs set with deep purple Amethyst , often associated with serenity, intuition, and spiritual growth.
- The Bottom Charms: Each earring is weighted with a natural Conical Shell (specifically resembling a small Triton or auger shell), representing the sea's enduring strength and protection.

- Brass Fish: Symbolizing abundance, flow, and transformation.
- Toadstool/Mushroom: Tiny glass mushroom charms that add a whimsical, "forest-floor" aesthetic.

The Flower (Left): A preserved pink Gardenia or similar botanical specimen. In floriography, white flowers like the gardenia represent purity, secret love, and refinement.
- The Butterfly Wing (Right): This features the wing of a Paper Kite Butterfly (Idea leuconoe), identifiable by its striking translucent white color and intricate black veining. Symbolically, butterfliesrepresent transformation, rebirth, and the ephemeral beauty of life.
Every piece starts with real flowers, chosen for their color and shape. I dry them slowly through dehydration, a process that keeps the flower's natural form rather than flattening it, and on some pieces I also use traditional flower pressing, though not for this particular collection. Depending on the type of flower, the drying alone takes anywhere from two to five weeks.
My way of working grew out of three years of steady practice, testing and exploring until I found a signature that felt like my own. Each earring moves through several stages across many days, from preserving the organic materials, to coating them in resin, to designing and handmaking the small charms that complete the piece.
Once all the elements for a collection are ready, I take them outside to a quiet spot in nature and let myself settle into the process. I sit with the colors and shapes until a combination clicks, then bring the pieces together by hand. Some days I can see the separate parts clearly but not yet the finished earring, so I gather them in small bags and return to them another day. It's a slow, artistic process, made with care and a good amount of patience.
I solo-travelled all the way to India to find each beautiful gemstone used in my designs. The flowers themselves are either home grown, gifted, or sourced from flower markets.
- Avoid exposing the earrings to excessive heat.
- Keep away from perfume, soap, and water.
- Store in a dark jewelry box, out of direct light.
- Do not apply pressure to the flower or charms.
